Responsible for the policy and claims service of assigned section of Private Client Group clients. Ensure prompt, accurate, courteous service to insureds, sales representatives and insurance companies regarding those accounts.  Provide support, guidance and oversight of Private Client Group Account Executives within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director of Operations- Personal Lines to carry out the Personal Lines strategic plan, in relation to the Private Client Group department.
  • Develop new concepts and ideas to improve client experience.
  • Provide total service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period; handle questions and general inquiries, recommend and provide increased limits or coverage.
  • Responsible for all changes and incoming inquiries regarding assigned clients.
  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all policy documentation processing; new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, etc.
  • Record and process various claims transactions.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable for assigned clients, adhering to corporate accounts receivable procedures.
  • Ensure all abeyance items are completed through the use of follow-up lists.
  • Solicit new personal lines business from existing accounts and provide quotations where required.
  • Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations.
  • Provide advice, guidance and mentor all Private Client Group Account Executives within the organization.
  • Liaise with Managers and Commercial Account Executives to resolve issues affecting quality and efficiency of the Private Client Group. Communicate with Director of Operations – Personal Lines regarding product and workflow developments and other information pertinent to day-to-day operations.
  • Other duties and special projects, as required.



  • RIBO license
  • Post-Secondary Education and/or Equivalent Industry Designations
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience with VIP and/or Private Client accounts
  • Knowledgeable on Personal Lines coverages, wordings and products
  • Excellent customer service skills; good written and oral communication skills; leadership skills
  • Well organized; attention to detail; an ability to prioritize; accuracy in recording details
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and client relations
  • Prior leadership experience
