Effective June 1, 2016, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) has introduced changes that will help make auto insurance premiums more affordable.
Many of the changes affect the portion of the Statutory Accident Benefits you receive if you are injured in an auto accident. However, there will also be changes to the comprehensive deductibles. This change only applies to auto insurance policies issued or renewed on or after June 1, 2016. It is important to understand the changes that will occur when you renew your policy and what it means to you. All of the information about the changes to the policy can be found by clicking here.
