Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement has us thinking DIAMONDS – and how to protect yours!

While everyone is busy thinking about the ring Prince Harry put on Meghan Markle’s finger, we are busy thinking about the rings you have on yours.

The three-stone engagement ring which was reportedly designed by Prince Harry himself features diamonds from both Botswana (a recent vacation destination of the love birds) as well as his mother Princess Diana’s personal collection.

Much like the prince and his bride to be, we know that you too have jewels that hold significant emotional and monetary value.

Your home insurance policy could have you covered if something is stolen outside of your home. It has the potential to protect your jewelry no matter where you are when the loss or damage occurs. This could be at home, on the road or anywhere in between. The average coverage limit for all of a homeowner’s jewelry, watches, gems, and fur or fur-trimmed garments is between $3,000 and $6,000. It is important to be aware of the conditions of your policy, so that your precious jewels are properly covered.
